Who I am
Jessa Ogilvie Consulting is the operating name. The legal entity behind it is Jessa Dian Consulting LLC, a Connecticut single-member LLC. Contracts and tax records use the LLC name; everything else on this site uses the operating name.
What this site collects
Effectively nothing. The site is static, hosted, and served without analytics, tracking pixels, third-party scripts, or cookies. No account system, no logins, no behavior tracking. If you load a page, the only thing my host sees is a standard server log entry (your IP and the page you requested), and those logs are not used to build any profile of you.
What I collect when you contact me
When you email me, whether through a link on this site or directly, I receive whatever you send me. Usually that's your name, your email address, a description of what you're trying to launch or untangle, and any context you choose to share.
What I do with it
I respond to you. If we work together, I use that information to scope the engagement, draft the contract, deliver the work, and stay in touch about it. I don't share it with anyone outside the engagement, I don't sell it, and I don't add you to a marketing list.
How long I keep it
For as long as we're working together, plus a reasonable retention period after that for tax and business records (typically seven years, per US sole-proprietor norms). If you ask me to delete what I'm not legally required to keep, I will.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time what I have, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jessa@jessaogilvie.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and I'll respond within five business days.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes (for instance, if I add analytics or a contact form), I'll update this page and post a new "last updated" date at the top.
